Matthew 24:24
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Mark 13:22
For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.

Corinthians 11:13
For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, masquerading as apostles of Christ.

1 Timothy 6:3-4 (King James Version) 3If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;  4He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,

As far as opposing world religions claiming to have the same God, that is preposterous. If someone claimed one day to have the same father as you and wanted to claim inheritance due to the so called paternity yet every detail they told you about your father, you knew to be untrue. You know your father, he raised you, you saw him daily, you know his character, and the father this person is describing is not the man you know in any way. Yet, the person claims that your father is the same person in physical form and name but in the way you saw him, that was the only difference. I don’t know what you would say but I would say this person was ridiculously unreasonable, a fraud, and demand a paternity test. Then, it would be proven that the DNA did not match and this charade would be over. Perhaps if you see it in the light of an earthly father you would understand that the claim of having the same God across every faith has no merit. The DNA test for spiritual things is the Bible. If the god of whom you speak does not match up to the God of the Bible, the paternity test is 0% a positive match and no paternal link can be made.  There is no way they are the same.

I do believe that there is One God and Only one God and He lived and Died for everyone on this planet. He says He is the Only God, He says there were none before Him; He says there are NONE after Him. He rose from the dead and He is alive and He loves everyone, even the most horrible creature alive. All one has to do is trust that He alone can save and accept His free gift. There is no other way but through Him because He says so. Any other person or faith that claims He is their God too and perverts who He is wrong. That is not of my authority it is His authority that says so. He says if anyone comes preaching another gospel not to believe and they ARE NOT from Him. I believe Him. I trust Him. That clears it up for me. He says in His Word that a FALSE Christ will be preached…..not HIM, not a different version of Him but still Him in person…..HE says a FALSE Christ….that means what it says, they are NOT THE SAME!

Cha-Ching….paternity test!

Jeremiah 5:31
The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?

Jeremiah 14:14
Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.

Matthew 7:15
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Matthew 24:11
And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

2 Peter 2:1
But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

 Mormon Doctrine says:

 “…no man or woman in this dispensation will ever enter into the celestial kingdom of God without the consent of Joseph Smith…. Every man and woman must have the certificate of Joseph Smith, junior, as a passport to their entrance… I cannot go there without his consent.… He reigns there as supreme a being in his sphere, capacity, and calling, as Goddoes in heaven.” Joural of Discourses (vol. 7, p. 289)

Why bother with Jesus then? Why pretend He’s the savior if you need Joseph Smith’s consent to enter heaven. Jesus says He is the way the thruth and the life and no man enters into heaven but through Him.

Jesus says:

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Who do you believe….Joseph or Jesus?

Mormon teaching says:

Remarks by President BRIGHAM YOUNG, delivered in the Tabernacle, Great Salt Lake City, October 9, 1859. Reported by G. D. Watt

Journal of Discourses Vol 7, 289

Joseph Smith holds the keys of this last dispensation, and is now engaged behind the vail in the great work of the last days. I can tell our beloved brother Christians who have slain the Prophets and butchered and otherwise caused the death of thousands of Latter-day Saints, the priests who have thanked God in their prayers and thanksgiving from the pulpit that we have been plundered, driven, and slain, and the deacons under the pulpit, and their brethren and sisters in their closets, who have thanked God, thinking that the Latter-day Saints were wasted away, something that no doubt will mortify them—something that, to say the least, is a matter of deep regret to them—namely, that no man or woman in this dispensation will ever enter into the celestial kingdom of God without the consent of Joseph Smith. From the day that the Priesthood was taken from the earth to the winding-up scene of all things, every man and woman must have the certificate of Joseph Smith, junior, as a passport to their entrance into the mansion where God and Christ are—I with you and you with me. I cannot go there without his consent. He holds the keys of that kingdom for the last dispensation—the keys to rule in the spirit-world; and he rules there triumphantly, for he gained full power and a glorious victory over the power of Satan while he was yet in the flesh, and was a martyr to his religion and to the name of Christ, which gives him a most perfect victory in the spirit-world. He reigns there as supreme a being in his sphere, capacity, and calling, as God does in heaven. Many will exclaim—”Oh, that is very disagreeable! It is preposterous! We cannot bear the thought!” But it is true.

I will now tell you something that ought to comfort every man and woman on the face of the earth. Joseph Smith, junior, will again be on this earth dictating plans and calling forth his brethren to be baptized for the very characters who wish this was not so, in order to bring them into a kingdom to enjoy, perhaps, the presence of angels or the spirits of good men, if they cannot endure the presence of the Father and the Son; and he will never cease his operations, under the directions of the Son of God, until the last ones of the children of men are saved that can be, from Adam till now.

Should not this thought comfort all people? They will, by-and-by, be a thousand times more thankful for such a man as Joseph Smith, junior, than it is possible for them to be for any earthly good whatever. It is his mission to see that all the children of men in this last dispensation are saved, that can be, through the redemption. You will be thankful, every one of you, that Joseph Smith, junior, was ordained to this great calling before the worlds were. I told you that the doctrine of election and reprobation is a true doctrine. It was decreed. in the counsels of eternity, long before the foundations of the earth were laid, that he should be the man, in the last dispensation of this world, to bring forth the word of God to the people, and receive the fulness of the keys and power of the Priesthood of the Son of God. The Lord had his eye upon him, and upon his father, and upon his father’s father, and upon their progenitors clear back to Abraham, and from Abraham to the flood, from the flood to Enoch, and, from Enoch to Adam. He has watched that family and that blood as it has circulated from its fountain to the page 290 birth of that man. He was foreordained in eternity to preside over this last dispensation, as much so as Pharaoh was foreordained to be a wicked man, or as was Jesus to be the Saviour of the world because he was the oldest son in the family.

The bible says:You believe Jesus for who He says He is, or you believe joseph smith and his version of the mormon jesus. They are not the same for Jesus says there will be false Christs that come and this is certainly a false christ, Jesus Christ of the bible is the True Christ. However, you are free to choose because He loves you that much. He gives you the love, the info, and He gave you the intelligence to make your own decisions. Then He loved you so much He gave you free choice even if that means not choosing Him.

He said he was:

“Well, now, examine the character of the Savior, and examine the character of those who have written the Old and New Testaments; and then compare them with the character of Joseph Smith, the founder of this work… and you will find that his character stands as fair as that of any man’s mentioned in the Bible. We can find no person who presents a better character to the world when the facts are known than Joseph Smith, Jun., the prophet and his brother Hyrum Smith, who was murdered with him.” (Journal of Discourses, vol. 14 p. 203)

They just said that even Jesus did not have better character than Joseph Smith…then why is Jesus even mentioned or necessary?

    “…no man or woman in this dispensation will ever enter into the celestial kingdom of God without the consent of Joseph Smith…. Every man and woman must have the certificate of Joseph Smith, junior, as a passport to their entrance… I cannot go there without his consent.… He reigns there as supreme a being in his sphere, capacity, and calling, as God does in heaven.” (vol. 7, p. 289)

Why bother with Jesus then? Why pretend He’s the savior if you need Joseph Smith’s consent to enter heaven. Jesus says He is the way the truth and the life and no man enters into heaven but through Him. John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Who do you believe….Joseph or Jesus?

in 1844 Josiah Quincy visited Joseph Smith and he said that Joseph Smith said this to him :

“the prophet put this inquiry: ‘Is not here one greater than Solomon, who built a Temple with the treasures of his father David and with the assistance of Huram [sic], King of Tyre? Joseph Smith has built his Temple with no one to aid him in the work.’ ” (Figures of the Past, as cited in Among the Mormons, p. 138)

The History of the Church has statements that show how Joseph Smith seemed to feel he was equal with God.     “God made Aaron to be the mouth piece for the children of Israel, and He will make me be god to you in His stead, and the Elders to be mouth for me; and if you don’t like it, you must lump it.” (vol. 6, pp.319-320)

    “If they want a beardless boy to whip all the world, I will get on the top of the mountain and crow like a rooster. I shall always beat them…. I have more to boast of than ever any man had. I am the only man that has ever been able to keep a whole church together since the days of Adam. A large majority of the whole have stood by me. Neither Paul, John, Peter, nor Jesus ever did it. I boast that no man ever did such a work as I. The followers of Jesus ran away from Him, but the Latter-day Saints never ran away from me yet.” (vol. 6, pp. 408-9)

 Well, it seems in his own words that he felt he was greater than Jesus, and no one can enter heaven without his consent not the consent of Jesus. Then, why did Jesus die? His death was a joke, was a mockery, was useless if Joseph Smith gives the consent to get into heaven……why is Jesus necessary for salvation. According to Mormon Doctrine Jesus Christ of the Bible is not the ONLY way of salvation! In TRUTH and in the TRUE BIBLE the ONLY way to eternal life, is without works (not because of works you don’t work your way into heaven), by grace alone, by accepting HIS blood ONLY for salvation and accepting His true virgin birth. The Mormon teaching makes him not necessary but Joseph is….So, who do you believe? According to Orson Pratt you are not allowed to make up your own mind concerning this, or speak of these things even if you do not agree. Is that fair? Is that loving? Or is that just mind control? Hmmmm.

An acquaintance of mine was bothered that I said Jesus is not necessary for salvation and that it is taught in their Doctrine. This acquaintance is a Mormon and he does believe that his Jesusis necessary for salvation but he did agree that his Jesus and the Jesus that Born again Christians believe in are different, so my statement stands because I am speaking of the TRUE JESUS of the BIBLE. However, I wanted to at least give him the benefit of doubt and make clear the difference in the Jesus about which I speak, because he says he believes in his Jesus for salvation. I told him I would make clear that I was speaking about the Jesus of Born Again Christians, the Jesus of the Bible, and not his Jesus of the Mormon Church. I hope this is more clear to readers. In my comment to him I tried to explain that even if his Jesus is required for salvation that if Joseph says he’s greater than Jesus and Joseph Smith’s consent is required to get into heaven it would make him greater than Jesus. One has to decide which to believe. One Jesus is a lie, they cannot both be true. If there is any other way to heaven than through Jesus Christ of the Bible then His Virgin Birth, His SINLESS life, and HIS death, and Resurrection were worthless. Then as far as making your own choice here’s what Orson Pratt says:

Orson Pratt says:

“Have we not a right to make up our minds in relation to the things recorded in the word of God, and speak about them, whether the living oracles believe our views or not? We have not the right.” Orson Pratt, Ibid, pg. 374

Preacher of Righteousness

(Elder Bruce McConkie, The Ensign, June 1985)

President, Ezra Taft Benson, eulogized McConkie as such and stated:

“Thanks be to God that Elder McConkie’s written words of testimony remain to continue to bless a world that needs them so desperately…

Often, when a doctrinal questions came before the First Presidency and the Twelve, Elder McConkie was asked to quote the scripture or to comment on the matter. He could quote scripture verbatim and at great length. He provided the entire Church with an example of gospel scholarship. He could teach the (restored) gospel with ease because he first understood the (restored) gospel.”

If McConkie was the one the First Presidency called on for clarity, shouldn’t that be good enough for all Mormons and shouldn’t we all be willing to accept what he wrote and taught as true LDS doctrine? We think so.

~~~~~end~~~~~ This is the same Bruce McConkie that taught that “The titles church of the devil and great and abominable church are used to identify all churches…-which are designed to take men on a course that leads away from God and his laws and thus from salvation…There is no salvation outside this one true Church,…” “There is no salvation outside The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. (Doctrines of Salvation, vol. 2, pp. 1-350.)” Bruce R. McConkie, Mormon Doctrine, pp. 137, 138, 670
“Hence, true and acceptable Chrisianity is found among the saints who have the fulness of the gospel, and a perverted Chritianity holds sway amont the so-called Christians of apostate Christendom. In these circles it is believed and taught that Christianity had its beginning with the mortal ministry of our Lord. Actually, of course, Adam was the first Christian,…” Bruce R. McConkie, Mormon Doctrine
and~Bruce R. McConkie, one of the 12 Apostles, writes in his Book, Mormon Doctrine:
God the Father is a perfected, glorified, holy Man, an immortal Personage. And Christ was born into the world as the literal Son of this Holy Being; he was born in the same personal, real, and literal sense that any mortal son is born to a mortal father. There is nothing figurative about his paternity; he was begotten, conceived  and born in the normal course of events, for he is the son of God, and that designation means what it says. Page 742
(he’s saying that Mary was not a virgin because she had sex with God and Jesus is literaly God’s son). The first statement read by EzraTaft Benson about Bruce McConkie saying his teachings were Doctrine and here McConkie says Jesus was not a virgin birth in Mormon Doctrine so this is Mormon Doctrine).
See also page 742 in Mormon Doctrine by Bruce R. McConkie
Page 743 SON OF MARY
-but the Holy Ghost is not the Father of Christ-and whenthe Child was born, he was “the Son of the Eternal Father.”
(why is this strange? The bible says Mary was given Jesus by the Holy Spirit (not sexual) and the Book of Mormon does too, but Mormon Doctrine says it’s not true). If the Book of Mormon is the most complete book on earth then why would it not say the right thing? If it is right then Bruce McConkie is wrong, but Mormons hold his teaching as Doctrine. It does not all add up.
Why say you are someone that your own church condemns? These are from L.D.S church authorities.
There should be originals at any mormon library and inter library loan may be able to get them for you from other libraries.
These are just some of the past attacks from Mormon teaching against Christianity…..see next The Mormon church (presently accuses) Christianity & any other church than theirs.
1. “But who in this generation have authority to baptize? None but those who have received authority in the church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints: all other churches are entirely destitute of all authority from God; and any person who receives Baptism or the Lord’s supper from their hands will highly offend God, for he looks upon them as the most corrupt of all people. Both Catholics and Protestants are nothing less than the “whore of Babylon” whom the Lord denounces by the mouth of John the Revelator as having corrupted all the earth by their fornications and wickedness. And any person who shall be so wicked as to receive a holy ordinance of the gospel from the ministers of any of these apostate churches will be sent down to hell with them, unless they repent of the un-holy and impious act. Orson Pratt, (The Seer, page…. 255, 1854).
2. “We talk about Christianity, but it is a perfect pack of nonsense….It is a sounding brass and a tinkling symbol; it is as corrupt as hell; and the Devil could not invent a better engine to spread his work that the Christianity of the nineteenth century.” John Taylor, (Journal of Discourses, Vol 6, page…. 167).
They could say they have changed their minds and the Christianity of the 20th century is better but again it would be “changing views again” and Christianity of the bible does not change. It does not change because it serves a God that does not change and the foundations of salvation are always the same.
3. There was a question about who founded the Roman Catholic church: The answer according to Orson Pratt (The Seer, page…. 205, 1854) was……
answer: The devil, through the medium of Apostates, who subverted the whole order of God by denying immediate revelation, and substituting in the place thereof, tradition and ancient revelations as a sufficient rule of faith and practice.
The question of did the great Protestant Reformers restore the Church of Christ to the earth?
The answer: No: for they had no inspired Apostles, Prophets, or Revelators among them, without which the Church could not be restored.
Question: But did not the first Protestant Reformers receive their ordination and authority from the Catholics?
Answer: Yes: and in this manner they received all the authority that their mother church was in possession of; and the mother having derived her authority from the Devil; could only impart that which his Satanic majesty was pleased to bestow upon her,” Orson Pratt (The Seer, page…. 205, 1854)
4. “Brother Taylor has just said that the religions of the day were hatched in hell. The eggs were laid in hell, hatched on its borders, and then kicked on to the earth.” Brigham Young. (Journal of Discourses, Vol. 6, page… 176).
5. “The Christian world, I discovered, was like the captain and crew of a vessel on the ocean without a compass, and tossed to and from withersoever the wind listed to blow them. When the light came to me, I saw that all the so-called Christian world was groveling in darkness.” Brigham Young (Journal of Discourses, Volume 5, page….73).
6. “And Christianity, at the present time is no more enlightened than other systems have been. What does the Christian world know about God? Nothing; …Why, so far as the things of God are concerned, they are the veriest fools; they know neither God nor the things of God.” Johy Taylor (Journal of Discourses, Vol. 13, page….225)
7. “What! are Christians ignorant? Yes, as ignorant of the things of God as the brute beast.” John Taylor (Journal of Discources, Volume 6 page….25).
8. ” The Christian world, so called, are heathens as to their knowledge of the salvation of God.” Brigham Young (Journal of Discourses, Volume 8 page….171).
9. “…Heber C. Kimball was beset by a number of Baptist priests who had been attending a conference. He read them all down out of the New Testament. ….With regard to true theology, a more ignorant people never lived than the present so-called Christian world.” Brigham Young (Journal of Discourses, Volume 8, page….199).
